San Diego-Coronado Bridge

An iconic 2.12-mile curved bridge arcing 200 feet over San Diego Bay, connecting downtown to the Coronado peninsula. One of the most photographed structures in California.

Fun Fact

The bridge's unique curved design was required so Navy aircraft carriers could pass underneath. It also prevents a steep grade on the Coronado side.
